Similar product photos and low display prices can hide different finishes, mould fees and delivery terms. I start by checking what the quote includes.
I compare five PVC keychain supplier websites by order quantity, design options, total cost, samples and lead times. My aim is to help Canadian buyers build a useful shortlist. Serving Canada and manufacturing in Canada are separate claims: a Canadian website or a price in Canadian dollars does not establish where your order will be produced.
Here is where I would start.
Quick Comparison: MOQ, Pricing and Lead Times
These are published claims and price references, not quotes for one identical order. C$ and CA$ both mean Canadian dollars. “Unverified” means I could not establish the production country for the proposed PVC order from the pages reviewed.
| Website | Supplier Type & Production Location | MOQ per Design | Customization | Pricing Basis | Samples & Fees | Production & Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Keychains.ca1 | Describes itself as a manufacturer; production country unverified. GS-JJ connection noted below. | Advertises no minimum; confirm for each design. | 2D/3D, double-sided, printed, QR codes and attachments. | Custom quote; CAD selectable. Confirm size, colours and included options. | Free digital proof; request physical sample and mould charges. | Confirm PVC production and transit separately; check free-shipping coverage. |
| PVCPatches.ca 2 | PVC specialist claiming its own production; country unverified. | No-minimum claim; published tiers start at 25. | 2D/3D, custom shapes and attachments. | 2–2.5 inch: C$2.34 each at 100; C$0.98 at 1,000. Colours and inclusions need confirmation. | Free artwork advertised; physical sample and mould fees need clarification. | Advertises 25-day turnaround and free shipping; confirm scope and arrival date. |
| GSJJ.ca3 | Describes itself as a manufacturer; production country unverified. Links to Keychains.ca. | General no-minimum claim; verify for the chosen PVC effect and design. | 2D/3D, glow, glitter, transparent, temperature-sensitive and NFC options. | Request base price, option surcharges and currency together. | Free proof advertised within 12 hours; soft PVC mould fees apply. Physical sample: enquire. | Confirm a PVC-specific schedule and delivery coverage; general rush claims are insufficient. |
| BrandedMatter.ca4 | Custom promotional supplier; production country unverified. | Both PVC pages list 250; confirm per-design rules. | Separate 2D/3D products; one/two-sided options. | At 250: 2D, 2-inch width, CA$4.80; 3D, up to 2-inch longest side, CA$7.49. Confirm colours/inclusions. | Preview advertised; mould option listed. Obtain mould and physical sample charges. | Both list 20 business days of production. Canadian free shipping has restrictions; confirm transit. |
| EverythingBranded.ca 5 | Promotional distributor; production country unverified. | Product-specific minimum not retrievable; request a quote. | Custom-shaped 3D PVC; confirm sides, colours and hardware. | Current dynamic price unavailable; confirm size, quantity, currency and inclusions. | Non-personalised sample offered; custom sample and setup charges need a quote. | Generic guidance: 7–25 working days production, plus 3–5 working days delivery. Confirm for the order. |
BrandedMatter’s 3D reference comes from its separate 3D product page6. These prices cannot establish which supplier is cheapest because the configurations and included services differ.
Website relationship: Keychains.ca and GSJJ.ca share a contact number and GS-JJ branding, and GSJJ links to Keychains.ca. I treat these as signs of a connection, not evidence of two independent factories. Confirm the contracting company and production arrangement when seeking alternative suppliers.
How We Compared These Supplier Websites
I built this shortlist from the five candidate websites identified for this guide. I reviewed their public product pages, ordering conditions, fee disclosures and delivery information on 26 October 2026. Supplier statements are labelled as advertised; earlier research notes remain unverified unless the current pages support them. Comments about suitable orders are my editorial judgement.
The numbers are navigation, not a quality ranking based on factory audits or product testing. For review evidence, I record the platform, review date, associated website, product scope and a traceable link. A company-wide rating is not a PVC keychain quality score. Reused reviews count once; using the same platform alone does not prove duplication.
Commercial disclosure: Raybay supplies custom PVC products from China.
Five PVC Keychain Supplier Websites Reviewed
I use these profiles to build an enquiry list. Written quotes and approved samples should decide the order.
1. Keychains.ca — Keychain-Focused Customization
Suitable orders. Keychains.ca would be on my enquiry list when a project needs several formats explored before the final specification is fixed.
Customization. Its PVC page lists 2D and 3D styles, QR codes, printing, double-sided designs and different attachments. My specification would show the proposed construction on both sides, including any plain areas.
MOQ and pricing. The current claim is no minimum order. For a small run, my priority is the complete cost per design. Quantity, size, colours, a second decorated side and 3D treatment all need to be specified in the enquiry.
Samples and timing. A free digital proof is advertised. My enquiry would also request the cost and timing of a physical sample made from my artwork, followed by production and delivery dates.
Review evidence. The page displays Shopper Approved-labelled feedback dated 26 October 2026, but the visible entry does not identify a PVC product. I treat it as service context.
Before ordering. My final checks would cover production country, contracting entity, mould retention and repeat-order charges. The GS-JJ branding and shared contact details suggest a relationship with GSJJ.ca. That relationship needs clarification before I treat both quotes as independent supply options.
2. PVCPatches.ca — PVC Patch-Style Keychains
Suitable orders. For a logo, badge or patch-style design that needs to become a shaped keychain, PVCPatches.ca looks relevant to my shortlist.
Customization. Its keychain page offers 2D and 3D designs with attachment choices. My brief would specify thickness, reverse-side treatment and the exact metal fitting.
MOQ and pricing. The page advertises no minimum, while its table begins at 25 pieces. The 2–2.5-inch row lists C$2.34 each at 100 and C$0.98 at 1,000. I still need the included colours, construction and fees confirmed before treating those figures as a budget.
Samples and timing. It advertises a 25-day turnaround; elsewhere, it describes roughly three weeks of production plus shipping. For my delivery plan, those statements need reconciling in writing, along with clarification of whether the offered sample is digital or physical.
Review evidence. Its own review page includes PVC keychain testimonials dated 2021 and 2022, alongside other products. I have not independently verified those purchases. The display format alone cannot establish whether a testimonial is authentic.
Before ordering. My outstanding questions cover production country and whether moulds, hardware, packaging and delivery to my postal code are included. For smaller orders, I need the total payable; the 25-piece tier cannot establish that.
3. GSJJ.ca — Specialty Effects and Custom Options
Suitable orders. GSJJ.ca interests me for an idea that needs a specific visual effect or an interactive feature.
Customization. Its keychain catalogue lists glow, glitter, transparent, temperature-sensitive and NFC PVC options. My first question is which effects can be combined in one design. A sample should demonstrate the proposed combination.
MOQ and pricing. The general page advertises no minimum; each PVC configuration still needs confirmation. My quote request separates base unit price, option surcharges and one-time charges. Its FAQ says soft PVC requires mould fees. I also want 3D, reverse decoration, printing and hardware additions itemised.
Samples and timing. The advertised 12-hour free proof concerns design approval. It does not establish a physical sample or production deadline. My schedule needs those dates separately, including time for revisions.
Review evidence. The GSJJ.ca page displays Shopper Approved-labelled feedback dated 22 October 2026 about order support, without identifying a PVC batch. I count any review reused elsewhere only once.
Before ordering. My final checks cover production country, functional requirements, mould retention and reorder costs. For NFC, my brief would specify the intended destination or action, with approval dependent on a working sample.
4. BrandedMatter.ca — Separate 2D and 3D Product Pricing
Suitable orders. BrandedMatter.ca fits my shortlist when a flat logo treatment and a sculpted version both need costing before a decision.
Customization. It has separate 2D and 3D PVC pages with side-selection options. I recommend submitting the same drawing to keep that comparison useful.
MOQ and pricing. Both list a 250-piece minimum. At that quantity, the 2-inch 2D row is CA$4.80 each, while the corresponding 3D size tier is CA$7.49. The 2D table specifies width; 3D uses the longest side. My comparison therefore needs matching dimensions before I consider the totals.
Samples and timing. Both pages list 20 business days of production and individual bagging. They also show a mould option. My enquiry would cover that charge, physical sample arrangements and when production time starts.
Review evidence. The BrandedMatter review page did not provide readable dated entries in this review. Platform provenance, review dates and PVC-specific coverage therefore remain unverified.
Before ordering. My remaining checks cover production country, shipping restrictions and transit time. An account reorder feature does not establish free mould reuse; I need the actual repeat-order terms in writing.
5. EverythingBranded.ca — Multi-Product Promotional Sourcing
Suitable orders. EverythingBranded.ca fits my shortlist when keychains form part of a wider promotional order. Its About page identifies the business as a distributor.
Customization. Its 3D PVC listing offers custom shapes. My enquiry would include a request for a drawing showing the decoration method, both sides and the selected hardware.
MOQ and pricing. The dynamic minimum and price did not load in the retrieved page. I could not verify a current MOQ or unit price. A dated, itemised quote is needed for comparison.
Samples and timing. The listed sample is non-personalised. It cannot verify my own artwork. Generic guidance gives 7–25 working days for production and 3–5 for delivery; my order would need dates confirmed for this product.
Review evidence. On Trustpilot’s Everything Branded Canada profile, a review posted on 5 October 2026 reports problems with branded hats. The profile also contains positive service feedback. I do not treat a hat complaint as evidence of PVC keychain quality.
Before ordering. My final questions cover manufacturing country, custom sample approval, combined shipments and responsibility for defects. One purchasing contact does not by itself establish one production site or one delivery schedule.
What Will Your PVC Keychain Order Actually Cost?
A low unit price is useful only when I can connect it to an exact specification and a complete invoice.
To compare PVC keychain costs, I request the same size, construction, colours, hardware, packaging and quantity from every supplier. I then add only charges excluded from the unit price: moulds, physical samples, extra packaging, shipping and any other applicable delivery costs. I compare the total payable and the terms attached to it.

Compare the Same Specifications and Quantities
My enquiry would give every shortlisted supplier the same baseline:
| Quote Item | Shared Specification |
|---|---|
| Size | Longest side: 2 inches / 50.8 mm; attach a dimensioned drawing. |
| Design | One design, single-sided, 2D. Specify the plain reverse. |
| Colours | Three solid colours; provide colour references. |
| Thickness | Ask every supplier to quote the same agreed thickness. |
| Hardware | The same split ring, chain arrangement and finish. |
| Packaging | The same individual bag or other agreed pack. |
| Quantities | Separate prices for 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 pieces. |
| 3D alternative | Quote separately using an agreed relief drawing or model. |
If a supplier cannot match the baseline, I keep its differences beside the price. A 2–2.5-inch price band does not define an exact finished size, and “2D” alone does not specify every layer or reverse-side detail.
For a character design, my brief would also identify which features must survive the move from artwork to moulded PVC. A cheaper quote that removes a recognisable face detail may not meet the brief.
Include Mold, Sample, Packaging and Delivery Charges
Total payable = confirmed unit price × quantity + excluded one-time fees + physical samples + extra packaging + shipping + other applicable delivery charges.
I do not add a fee twice. If the unit price includes the mould, that charge must not appear again as an extra in my comparison.
Here is a hypothetical example, not a supplier quote: 500 pieces at C$2.00 cost C$1,000. Add C$120 for tooling, C$60 for a physical sample, C$40 for extra packaging and C$80 for shipping. The subtotal becomes C$1,300, or C$2.60 per ordered piece, before any further applicable charges.
My budget also needs the transaction currency, quote validity, Canadian postal code and full scope of the quote confirmed. Where taxes, duties or brokerage could apply, I want the quote to state who pays them and whether they are included.
Check Mold Retention and Reorder Terms
Before paying for tooling, these are the questions on my checklist:
- How long will the mould be retained, and when does that period start?
- Can an unchanged design be reordered without another mould charge?
- Are there separate setup, maintenance or replacement charges?
- What happens if I change only colours, or change the size, relief or attachment point?
- Can I refer to the original mould number and approved sample on later orders?
My enquiry would also cover whether different colour versions can share tooling but still require separate production quantities. A reusable mould and a shared MOQ are different questions.
How to Verify Samples, Quality and Delivery
My purchasing checklist puts sample approval, inspection and delivery milestones in the written order before production is authorised.
I would approve a physical sample made from my own design, record the agreed finish and details, and use it as the reference for bulk inspection. I would also obtain separate dates for artwork, tooling, sampling, production and delivery, with clear remedies for shortages, defects or products that differ from the approved sample.

Approve a Physical Sample for Your Design
My first step is to establish exactly what the supplier means by “sample”:
| Approval Material | What I Would Use It to Check |
|---|---|
| Digital proof | Layout, text, dimensions, colour references and decoration positions. |
| 3D rendering | Proposed shape and relief; it is still a visual representation. |
| Existing physical sample | General feel, finish and construction of a previous design. |
| Custom pre-production sample | How my own approved design, material and hardware work together. |
A rendering can look convincing without proving how the finished object feels. My sample checklist covers small text, thin lines, facial details, raised layers, colour boundaries, edges and the connection to the metal fitting. The reverse needs as much attention as the front.
For a QR code, my approval would depend on the finished sample scanning at its actual size. An NFC version would need to perform the agreed function on the devices specified in the brief.
I recommend keeping the approved sample, dated photos and written specification together. Any later change needs a new approval record.
Confirm the Schedule to Your Canadian Address
I plan the schedule around five stages:
- Artwork preparation and approval.
- Mould preparation and first sample.
- Sample review, revisions and final approval.
- Bulk production, inspection and packing.
- Dispatch, transit and delivery to the stated address.
For each stage, my checklist includes the start trigger and whether the estimate uses business or calendar days. “After approval” needs to specify artwork approval or physical sample approval.
For an event order, my brief would include the required arrival date as well as the event date. I also want to know how sample revisions would affect that schedule.
Agree on Bulk Inspection and After-Sales Handling
I use the approved sample and written specifications as the proposed basis for acceptance. The inspection checklist should cover appearance, dimensions, colour references, hardware, quantity and packaging.
My recommendation is to agree on inspection coverage and acceptable tolerances before production. Pre-shipment photos can help review appearance and packing, but they do not establish the condition of every item.
The order should also explain how to report missing pieces, damaged fittings, defects or differences from the sample. My final checks include the reporting window, required evidence, available replacement or refund arrangements and who pays any related shipping.
FAQs About Ordering PVC Keychains in Canada
Are These PVC Keychains Actually Made in Canada?
I could not establish Canadian production for the proposed orders from the pages reviewed. My next step would be to request the manufacturing country and facility details. Serving Canadian customers does not establish Canadian manufacture.
Can I Order Fewer Than 100 Custom PVC Keychains?
Some reviewed websites advertise no minimum. My quote request would confirm that promise for the design and include tooling and sampling. A low quantity does not guarantee a low total bill.
Can Multiple Designs Share One MOQ?
I would not assume that. A 300-piece order split across three designs may be treated as three separate 100-piece runs. Ask for the MOQ and fees for every design and colour variant.
Does a Free Proof Include a Physical Sample?
I treat a free proof as design approval unless the supplier explicitly includes a physical sample. Ask whether the sample uses your own artwork and whether tooling, revisions and shipping are included.
Do I Need to Pay the Mold Fee Again When Reordering?
That depends on the supplier’s retention and reuse terms. My reorder enquiry would separate an unchanged repeat order from size, structure or design changes.
Are Shipping and Other Delivery Charges Included?
My quote needs written confirmation for the Canadian postal code. A free-shipping banner does not answer every question about destination restrictions, extra services or other charges connected with delivery.
Shortlist Suppliers and Request a Comparable Quote
I would shortlist 2–3 websites and send identical artwork, dimensions, 2D/3D requirements, colours, designs, quantities, hardware, packaging, Canadian postal code, deadline and physical sample requirements.
